An electrician working at a luxury luxury residential project in Germany is being investigated for allegedly paying a woman $20,000 to work in his home.
An article from Germany’s Die Welt claims the woman had been offered a salary of €40,000 ($45,000) and told she would be paid a commission of 20 percent for every day she worked at the apartment.
The article goes on to say the woman told the news agency that the contract was signed in August.
The woman, who is currently living in the United States, told the newspaper that the $20k was an “unrealistic” salary.
She said she was not aware of any such deal, according to the report.
The report also says that the woman was paid $5,000 in December, according a source with knowledge of the matter.
