Electrician says man hit her with a car, killed her husband in car accident

SAN DIEGO — A man hit a woman in a car with a broken rear wheel in the parking lot of an Ann Arbor apartment building Friday and killed her, police said.

The unidentified man drove his car into the front door of the apartment complex on the city’s west side just after 7 p.m. and left the scene, San Jose Police Chief Mike Snodgrass said.

Police said they’re still looking for the man who drove away in a silver Nissan Maxima.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her husband was in stable condition.

Police have yet to release any details about the incident.

The woman was not injured.
